Making a basic outfit look more cute.

I'm still pretty obsessed with these jeans, I've previously styled them on my making vintage thrifting look like guess jeans post but I wear them pretty much everyday so I'm bound to repeat look. (Oops I did it again.)

Anyway, it's virtually summer and I can't seem to handle more than two layers of clothing without feeling like i'm drowning, so I've been looking at adding little accessories and styling my pieces in individual ways just to make a basic outfit look a little more cute.

Here are my style tips on how to make a basic outfit more cute:
It'll soon become apparent that knotting a top makes it a million times more cute and flirty...plus you get away with wearing a crinkly shirt and not being given the side eye. I tend to go for basic front knots, but if this becomes banal try adding a knot to the back of your shirt instead, it will give off a more non chalant vibe. I mean we're all bad girls at heart at what screams baddie more than a back knot?!

Over the winter period I acquired a few dresses from Zara all which came with a brown belt, even though I do not wear the belt with the dresses, I'm not one to let an accessory go to waste so I've incorporated the brown colour into any of my denim looks just to give a nod to the 70's style... but don't worry I won't fall back into my trendy ways.

I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and pairing my all blue look with quirky burgundy boots, in this case it kind of works and adds a little more flirt to my look.
