Two ways to wear culottes pants ft. Pretty little thing, Zara and F21

The tomboy inside of me says slouch it up, stack on the layers, jumpers are better than crop tops, add a baseball hat, switch into white sneakers, take off the jewelry, add a back pack and embrace the edge.

So I browse through H&m for the perfect culottes just right for my 5ft4 frame, I lust over Kenzo Paris jumpers on Selfridges adamant that i'll grab one in the sale and I never do.
Who am I kidding tho? I'll always embrace the slinky look.

From bodycon to what I like to call Bohemian Rhapsody; skirts, long pants and feminine tops are the epitome of an effortless look. That's why I love this fluorescent yellow, PrettyLittlething crop top although I know it's more suited for a summer away, maybe for my trip to Mexico?

I'll be browsing through ASOS, Missguided for winter alternatives to this look.

Two ways

1) My way
Sometimes I look at images of a young Kate moss and I remember that less is more, an outfit can be just as impactful with a simple top and bottom combo with killer boots, accessories aren't everything and I detest a cluster of colours on one ensemble. The slouchier the better, from Topshop to the Row
slouch is the new uniform for the cool kids. So my perfect styling tip for culottes are simple, keep your look minimal and effortless.

2) Or the high way
Just like if you were to run out on the high way this is a risky outfit, comfortable outfits can have the tendency to be more boring, this is how to to make a comfortable outfit more chic;

Risky Rules to live by: It's always sunny enough to wear sunglasses, for concealing tears or just to conceal your resting bitch face.

Always remember as they say the higher the heel the closer to God.

Convention isn't everything, find a new way to layer your outfit that is different from the norm, just make sure this represents you.

I styled this look with Zara summer sale trousers and a thrifted jumper, see my post on thrifting to learn how to cop your own.
